Volunteers play a vital role within advice agencies, undertaking a variety of roles ranging from reception and administration to providing the first point of access and advice for clients. Volunteers may also undertake specialist roles such as telephone helpline assessor, debt adviser or employment specialist.

Who are we?
Advice Derbyshire operates as a single voice for advice providers across the County, our members are leading advice providers that are working together to ensure the people of Derbyshire have access to free, high-quality advice services delivered in ways that best meet their needs.
What do we do?
Together we’re providing a joined up approach to free, confidential advice, developing a single point of access to advice by telephone, email and through the web for all of the residents of Derbyshire. We will also work together to tackle the social issues that affect the residents of Derbyshire, issues like debt, poverty and injustice.
