Advice Derbyshire was launched in January 2009 and is a membership organisation that represents the leading independent advice agencies in the county of Derbyshire (excluding Derby city).
Key Independent Advice Agencies have come together to develop a County wide consortium, with a view to planning and providing advice services coherently and effectively across the County.

- Across Derbyshire, our members advised over 21,000 people in 2008/09
- We currently have 117 Specialist Advisers dealing with issues ranging from Debt, Welfare Rights, Employment, Discrinunation, Equality & Human Rights
- Over 200 Volunteers work along side specialist advisers
- Our members are open to the public Monday to Friday every week for over 500 hours combined
- Telephone helplines are open for over of 120 hours per week
- Our members are able to deliver advice services from 116 sites including Doctor's Surgeries and Medical Centres across Derbyshire
